My Artist Statement

The majority of my work is done through multiple Adobe software. I then incorporate my hand made skills. I do a lot of experimenting with my drawing and painting skills, then I scan it into the computer and alter it. There are many things you can do by hand that can never be replicated in the digital world. I believe this is my edge in the design world and makes it original. I work with a smaller color palate, I am more minimalist and feel too many colors can cause clutter.

            My work has its own signature, I use my own drawings, paintings, images and textures. It also has a more “grunge” feel due to working with darker colors, unique textures and effects. I am able adapt to all projects and can still follow my own signature technique. My work tends to combine current events that I am facing and incorporate my surroundings too. ­­

            I create art because I reflect a piece of myself for the world to see. It is my way of trying to make people look at things in a new light. I am an open book, I use my own personal struggles or past to create work. Not only is it beautiful and meaningful to me, but it can help others or make them view my work in a different way.
